Salary: £70,000 – £80,000

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Planned Works Unit. You will oversee the commercial and financial management of assigned projects, ensuring accurate reporting, robust cost control, and effective procurement. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to social housing improvements across London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities

Manage project budgets, cashflows, and monthly valuations (CVRs)

Procure subcontractors and on-hire plant, ensuring best value

Oversee contract compliance, site visits, and commercial close-out tasks

Prepare and agree interim valuations, variations, and final accounts

Monitor project KPIs, risks, and opportunities to protect margins

Support junior QS staff and contribute to commercial strategy
About You

Degree (BSc) or Diploma (HND/HNC) in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)

Experience in social housing and/or planned maintenance

Knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC, TPC, PPC desirable)

Familiarity with NHF SOR, BOQs, and commercial software (COINS, C-Link, etc.)

Strong commercial awareness, organisation, and communication skills
