- Design Coordination: Collate and review all design documents and drawings, ensuring compliance and integration across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural elements.

- Technical Oversight: Evaluate project specifications, produce coordinated drawings, and oversee technical submittals.
- Procurement Management: Process requisitions, generate purchase orders, and verify the receipt of equipment and materials.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with the design team, contractors, and in-house project teams on technical and commercial issues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare method statements, risk assessments, weekly progress reports, and maintain rigorous document control.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections, manage snagging, and ensure systems meet the required specifications.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead sub-contractors, junior engineers, and graduates, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Qualifications: 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or a Senior Trades qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ project engineering experience with a mechanical contractor, with a proven record of delivering small to medium-scale projects.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems, mechanical system specifications, and technical submittals.
- Skills: Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Process-Oriented: Focus on EHS, quality work management systems, and a process-driven approach.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects.
- Capability to walk down mechanical systems and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Familiarity with developing and reviewing technical submittals.
- Proficiency in managing project priorities and multitasking effectively.
