About the Role 

Due to an exciting new contract win, we are looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our newly launched Response business in Wakefield. This role focuses on Responsive Maintenance works for our customers' properties, with opportunities to work on emergency repairs, routine maintenance, and planned refurbishments.

Responsibilities As a Multi-Trade Operative, your duties will include:

• Completing multi-trade tasks, such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repairs in domestic properties.
• Performing reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, and occasionally planned refurbishment jobs in void properties.
• Typical tasks may include fixing broken taps, repairing leaking pipes, unblocking drainage, and general kitchen or bathroom repair work.
• Participating in an emergency call-out rota.

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in a core trade.
• Experience in residential maintenance and repairs is highly desirable.
• Strong customer-facing skills and a passion for working with people.
• A motivated and target-driven approach to work.
• A valid UK driving license with eligibility to drive in the UK.
