Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Our Amesbury Capital Unit has been proudly working with our domestic housing client for 12 years, ensuring a strong order book for years to come. As a result, we are looking for a skilled Door Fitter (Carpenter) to join our planned works team.

About the Role:

As a Door Fitter/Carpenter, you will work primarily alone but as part of a larger friendly trades team across the Wiltshire area, fitting and repairing doors within occupied properties. You will be responsible for:

  • Installing full domestic (composite) doors, including repairs as needed.

  • Conducting fire door installation and penetration work (opportunity for upskilling and accreditation if required).

  • Delivering exceptional customer service by keeping residents informed and working efficiently within agreed timeframes.

  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.

  • Proven experience as a domestic Carpenter/Joiner with strong door fitting skills.

  • Motivated and able to meet both individual and team targets.

  • Professional and friendly communication skills for engaging with customers.

  • Full UK driving licence (own van preferred, but a work-use van can be discussed at interview).
